would i be able to get a job in the nhl?
Would i be able to get a job as a coach or a GM? I am a big hockey fan, and i know how things work but i dont know how to skate. If lets say i sart learning today (im about 15) would i have a chance in becoming a head coach or GM? I know most coaches and gms didn't even have nhl playing experience but only played for the juniors.
of course you could, but as mentioned before me, you definitely need to learn how to skate. even though some coaches have no playing experience, they can at least skate. it would be hard to teach your team standing on the side of the rink.
so learn to skate at your local rink and then talk to a coach of a team, like a local high school team. they would be able to push you in the right direction and tell you what you'll need to do exactly to get where you want to be.
